Women's Right, Women's Freedom

I am currently organizing a vigil for women's rights.
Watching the news from around the world - the courageous efforts of women in Iran standing up against the fraud of the election, the comments of the French President on the burka, and the continued violence against women in their homes all over the world - I am appalled by the silence I come across lately, when this issue is brought up.
While I morn with many the death of those celebrities that have left us, I am more concerned about the trafficking of women and children, who are just because they were born in the wrong place, do not have the same rights and freedom then I do.
I am asking you to join me this coming Saturday, July 4th, US independence day, to light a candle for those women who are still looking for their freedom. I will be lighting mine at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time US.

I will light a candle and push the awareness up as well on Human Rights. This is a criminal act being done via trafficking & just not ok. It does start by enlightening and we can keep this light alive by always exposing the truth on behalf of the victims.
